Latest company case about Low-temperature Resistant Anchor Chain Supply for Norwegian North Sea Oilfield

Project Background:
In 2024, the new drilling platform in the Norwegian North Sea Oilfield required anchor chains adaptable to -20℃ seawater environments.

Technical Innovations:
Developed low-temperature tough anchor chains with 3.5% nickel content, passing the -40℃ impact test (conventional anchor chains only resist -10℃). Electro-slag remelting technology was used to eliminate internal defects.

Customer Feedback:
The anchor chains operated for 12 months in Arctic Circle waters without any fracture records. Equinor praised that "low-temperature performance breaks through industry standards", leading to an annual framework agreement for 5,000 tons of anchor chains.
