Recently, at the 4th High-tech Ship and Offshore Equipment Industry Conference, domestic anchor chain manufacturing companies won the country's first marine anchor chain carbon footprint green mark certificate from the China Classification Society CCS. Anchor chain products have transformed from traditional heavy industry manufacturing to low-carbon green products. The entire process of smelting, heat treatment, and surface anti-corrosion of the anchor chain has completed carbon accounting filings. The products comply with the EU's green marine equipment procurement access standards.
Driven by the explosion of global floating wind power and ocean engineering projects, orders for domestic high-strength mooring anchor chains continue to rise. The leading manufacturer invested an additional 350 million in the deep-sea mooring chain project to expand production. The annual offshore mooring chain contract volume increased by more than 110% year-on-year. During the same period, the domestic port channel and maritime navigation beacon anchor chain procurement project was launched, and millions of national standard anchor chains were delivered in batches to the South China Sea maritime projects.
