These materials possess excellent forging properties and toughness, making them suitable for core load-bearing scenarios such as tension and fastening of rigging. After die forging, the material structure is dense, avoiding defects such as porosity and cracks common in castings, ensuring the foundation's load-bearing capacity.
Excellent Corrosion Resistance: The surface is standardly treated with hot-dip galvanizing or electro-galvanizing. The zinc coating is uniform and has strong adhesion, effectively isolating corrosive media such as air and moisture, making it particularly suitable for humid outdoor and marine environments. The hot-dip galvanized version offers more durable protection, meeting the needs of long-term outdoor operations.
Sufficient Safety Redundancy: After subsequent heat treatment, the product's safety factor reaches 5:1. Taking the M30 specification as an example, the permissible load can reach 6371kg, with the ultimate load far exceeding the working load, capable of handling instantaneous impact loads during operation and reducing safety risks.
Manufacturing Process:
Raw Material Pretreatment: Select standard-compliant carbon steel billets and pre-treat them by cutting and rust removal to remove surface impurities and oxide scale, ensuring the precision and material stability of subsequent processing.
Die Forging: The billet is processed using die forging technology. A pressure device presses the heated billet into a specialized mold to shape the main body and end caps (such as claw or ring types) of the turnbuckle. This step improves material density and structural strength.
Precision Machining: The forged workpiece undergoes drilling, tapping, and thread rolling to produce deep and regular threads, ensuring even force distribution and preventing slippage during adjustment. Simultaneously, the end caps are ground to correct dimensional deviations.
Heat Treatment Strengthening: A quenching and tempering heat treatment process optimizes the internal metallographic structure of the material, further improving the product's hardness and toughness, preventing deformation or breakage during high-strength fastening.
Surface Treatment: Hot-dip galvanizing or electro-galvanizing is performed according to requirements. After treatment, excess zinc layer is removed and the surface is ground to ensure a smooth appearance and uniform galvanization.
Quality inspection before shipment: Through steps such as dimensional calibration, load testing, and thread accuracy inspection, unqualified products are screened out to ensure that the products leaving the factory meet the DIN 1480 standard before being packaged and put into storage.
