G401 Hot Dip Galvanized Chain Swivel, G402 Regular Swivel, G403 Jaw End Swivels
Product Description:
Material Advantages:
G401 Hot Dip Galvanized Chain Swivel
The main body is mostly made of high-quality 45# carbon steel or high-strength carbon steel, with stainless steel optional for some versions. After hot-dip galvanizing, it not only inherits the high strength and impact resistance of carbon steel, but also has extremely strong corrosion resistance and moisture resistance, making it suitable for harsh outdoor and marine environments; some products undergo heat treatment, further improving the toughness and load-bearing stability of the material, with a safety factor of 5:1.
G402 Regular Swivel
Made primarily of high-quality 45# carbon steel, with some alloy steel options, the material itself possesses excellent forging properties and load-bearing capacity. The surface is treated with hot-dip galvanizing or electro-galvanizing, balancing rust prevention and wear resistance, enabling it to withstand humid and dusty industrial and marine environments. Its ultimate load capacity is 5 times the working load, and its structural strength is suitable for medium- and light-duty mooring and connection requirements.
G403 Jaw End Swivels
Utilizing alloy steel as the core material, after quenching and tempering, the material exhibits an extremely high balance between hardness and toughness, capable of withstanding significant impact loads. Hot-dip galvanizing provides outstanding corrosion and salt spray resistance, making it suitable for highly corrosive environments such as marine environments. With a safety factor of 5:1, it is more suitable for connection scenarios requiring robust clamping compared to similar products.
Manufacturing Process:
G401 Hot Dip Galvanized Chain Swivel
First, the carbon steel raw material is die-forged to shape the basic shape; then, the key joints are welded to reinforce them; next, the internal structure of the material is optimized and its strength is enhanced through tempering (quenching + tempering); after processing, the surface is treated, mainly hot-dip galvanizing, but electro-galvanizing can also be done as needed; finally, dimensional calibration and load testing are performed to ensure compliance with the US Federal Standard RR-C-271F Class VII Level 1 standard.
G402 Regular Swivel
Production Process: The blank is created using a die forging process to ensure structural density; then, precision machining is performed to calibrate the dimensions; finally, a galvanizing process is used for surface rust prevention. Finished products must pass load testing, conforming to the US Federal Standard RR-C-271 Class VII Level 2 standard to ensure product stability.
G403 Jaw End Swivels
The alloy steel raw material is first die-forged, focusing on creating the claw-type clamping structure. Then, quenching and tempering are performed to enhance material properties. Finally, hot-dip galvanizing achieves surface rust prevention. Finished products undergo clamping force and corrosion tests to ensure the stability and durability of the claw structure.
Features:
G401 Hot Dip Galvanized Chain Swivel
Sizes range from 1/4 inch to 3/4 inch, with working loads from 850 to 7200 pounds. Its core function is to relieve torsional and knotted stresses on chains and wire ropes under tension, and to help position the load. It is only used as a positioning device and cannot be rotated under load. The forging process makes it compact and adaptable to various rope and chain connections.
G402 Regular Swivel
Product Features: Primarily featuring a double-eye structure, suitable for connecting various components such as anchor chains and mooring lines; also serving as a positioning device, it cannot rotate under load; with a wide size range and strong adaptability, it is often used as a universal connector with mooring anchors, mooring buoys, and fishing buoys, and can connect multiple sections of anchor cable or chain.
G403 Jaw End Swivels
The unique claw-type end design provides strong clamping force, facilitating quick connection and disassembly of chains, hooks, and other components. It allows for slight rotation under load, preventing rope twisting and entanglement. As a positioning device, it cannot be continuously rotated under load for extended periods. The combination of forging and heat treatment makes it suitable for medium to heavy-duty load scenarios.

Applications:
G401 Hot Dip Galvanized Chain Swivel
Suitable for high-altitude lifting, cargo binding, and towing operations, it is also compatible with marine and industrial rigging scenarios, such as simple mooring of small vessels, light lifting and hoisting in factory workshops, and rope fixing in outdoor cargo transportation.
G402 Regular Swivel
Primarily used in ship mooring scenarios, such as connecting small and medium-sized ships to anchor chains and securing port buoys; also suitable for light lifting and positioning in the industrial field, connecting fishing gear ropes in aquaculture, and securing temporary ropes in outdoor engineering and other common scenarios.
G403 Jaw End Swivels
Widely used in marine rigging and industrial lifting fields, such as connecting ship anchor chains and ropes, rigging adaptation for port lifting equipment, chain steering connection in the hoisting of heavy components in factories, and can also be used in deep-sea fixation of large fishing gear and other scenarios requiring stable clamping.
