DIN 741 Malleable Cast Iron Wire Rope Clamps, ZP

Our DIN 741 malleable cast iron wire rope clamps are made of durable steel, ensuring long-lasting durability and reliable performance in a variety of applications.

Material Advantages:

Main Body Material: The main body of the clamp is made of malleable cast iron (malleable iron). After malleability treatment, this material exhibits significantly improved toughness compared to ordinary cast iron, enabling it to withstand certain mechanical stress and impacts without easily becoming brittle, thus meeting the fastening requirements under light to medium loads.

U-bolt Material: The matching U-bolts are mostly made of C15 steel. This low-carbon steel has good plasticity and processing properties, facilitating bending, threading, and other processing. It also provides sufficient clamping strength, ensuring reliable fastening when used with the malleable iron body.

Surface Treatment: The entire assembly undergoes a galvanizing process. The zinc layer effectively isolates the product from corrosive media such as air and moisture, significantly improving its rust and corrosion resistance and extending its service life in harsh outdoor and humid environments. For some special applications, versions made of stainless steel 304 and 316 are also available, offering superior corrosion resistance and suitability for highly corrosive environments such as marine and chemical plants.

 

 

Manufacturing Process:

 

Mold Making: Based on the dimensional requirements of DIN 741 standard, sand molds for the card head body (base) and machining molds for the U-bolts are made to ensure product specification uniformity.

Malloy Body Forming: First, the raw material is cast into white cast iron parts. Then, its toughness is improved through malleable annealing. Subsequently, the treated malleable cast iron is heated and melted, poured into the sand mold, and cooled and solidified to initially form the card head body.

U-bolt Machining: C15 steel is selected as the raw material. The steel is drawn to the specified diameter using a wire drawing machine, then cut to the corresponding length using a blanking machine. It is then machined into a U-shape using a bending machine. Finally, threads are machined at both ends of the bolt using a threading machine for easy fastening with a nut.

Surface Treatment: The formed card head body and U-bolts are galvanized, commonly using electroplating or hot-dip galvanizing methods to form a uniform anti-corrosion zinc layer.

Assembly and quality inspection: Assemble the U-bolts, clamp bodies and purchased matching nuts, then check the product dimensions, thread accuracy, zinc plating quality, etc., to ensure compliance with DIN 741 standards and related quality requirements. After passing the inspection, package and ship the product.
