Material Advantages:
Alloy steel 320A and grade 80 derivatives: High strength and toughness, excellent strength-to-weight ratio after tempering; some grade 80 products can maintain rated load in a temperature range of -40℃ to 200℃, with outstanding fatigue resistance; fatigue strength can reach 1.5 times the rated working load in 20,000 cycle tests. Suitable for heavy-duty lifting in heavy industry, and lifting operations in harsh conditions such as high or low temperatures.
Carbon steel 320C (mainly grade 43): High cost-effectiveness; basic strength is guaranteed through forging and tempering, with a safety factor of 5:1 and a breaking load of 5 times the rated working load, meeting the mechanical requirements of conventional lifting. Suitable for general lifting, light and medium-sized cargo transportation, and other ordinary working conditions.
316/304 stainless steel S320 derivatives: Possess extremely strong corrosion and rust resistance; the surface is highly polished, and the material is pure and free of impurities.
Manufacturing Process:
Raw Material Pretreatment: Select alloy steel, carbon steel, or stainless steel billets of the corresponding grade. First, remove surface oxide scale and impurities, then cut them into suitable raw material blocks according to product dimensions to ensure raw material purity and avoid subsequent forming defects.
Forging: Using die forging or drop forging processes, apply pressure to the heated billet using a thousand-ton press to forge the ring eye and hook body prototype. This step refines the metal grains, improving the overall structural strength of the hook and meeting its core lifting load requirements.
Temperature and Heat Treatment: Precisely quench and temper the forged billet. Quenching increases hardness, while tempering eliminates internal stress, preventing brittle fracture during hook use and ultimately ensuring a balance between strength and toughness.
Precision Machining: Drill and grind the hook body, while stamping the buckle components. Afterward, perform surface treatment on the components, common processes including powder coating, electro-galvanizing, and hot-dip galvanizing, which provide corrosion resistance and improve appearance neatness.
Assembly and Inspection: Assemble the high-strength spring and stamped buckle onto the hook body, ensuring the buckle locks flexibly. The inspection process includes crack detection and load testing (verification test at 2.5 times the rated load). Some products also need to pass ISO 9001, CE, and other certifications. Only after passing the certification and marking information such as rated load can the product leave the factory.
