Manufacturing Process:
The production of Anchor (Speck Anchor) mainly relies on casting or forging, following standards such as CB/T 711-1995. The core process includes raw material preparation, forming, heat treatment, finishing, surface treatment, assembly and testing, and finally, the product is labeled and stored. The detailed steps are as follows:
1. Raw material preparation and component control
Selection: Select ZG200-400C, Q235, etc. for shipbuilding cast steel or forged steel, which must meet the requirements of classification societies (ABS, LR, DNV, etc.).
Raw material inspection: Spectral analysis, mechanical property testing to ensure the content of C, Si, Mn, S, P, etc. meets the standards, and eliminate harmful impurities.
Mixing and melting: Melting in an electric arc furnace / medium frequency furnace, controlling the temperature and uniformity of the composition, taking samples for analysis before casting.
2. Forming process (either casting or forging)
(1) Casting process (mainstream, suitable for large specifications)
Mold making: Make sand molds / resin sand molds according to CB/T 711-1995 dimensions, leaving a reserved shrinkage amount and pouring system.
Pouring: Steel liquid temperature 1550–1650℃, rapid and stable pouring, avoiding gas pores and shrinkage cavities.
Cooling and fall-sand: Natural cooling to room temperature, vibration fall-sand, cleaning of risers and burrs.
Castpiece cleaning: Sand blasting / shot blasting to remove adhered sand, magnetic powder / ultrasonic flaw detection to check internal defects.
(2) Forging process (suitable for high-strength requirements)
Cutting: Cut steel billets according to the weight and forging ratio of the anchor.
Heating: 1100–1250℃ austenitization to ensure plasticity.
Forging formation: Free forging / die forging, controlling the forging ratio ≥ 3, ensuring continuous metal flow lines, forming key parts such as anchor claws and anchor shafts in one go.
Post-forging cooling: Heap cooling / furnace cooling to prevent cracks.
3. Heat treatment (core for performance determination)
Normalizing: 880–920℃ holding, air cooling, refining grains, uniformizing the structure.
Quenching (optional): Quenching + high-temperature tempering to increase strength and toughness, suitable for high-strength anchors.
Tempering: 550–650℃ holding, eliminating internal stress, stabilizing dimensions, ensuring hardness HB 180–240.
Performance testing: Tensile, impact, hardness tests, in accordance with CB/T 711-1995 and classification society requirements.
4. Finishing and size control
Mechanical processing: CNC turning / milling / drilling for anchor crown, pin shaft holes, threads, etc., ensuring tolerance ±1–±3mm, surface roughness Ra ≤ 12.5μm.
Critical dimension inspection: Three-coordinate measurement for anchor claw spacing, anchor shaft length, pin shaft hole coaxiality, etc., in accordance with the drawings.
De-burring and chamfering: Avoid stress concentration, improving assembly performance.
5. Surface treatment (anti-corrosion)
Sandblasting / shot blasting: Remove rust thoroughly, surface roughness Ra 40–80μm, enhancing coating adhesion.
Anti-corrosion coating:
Hot-dip galvanizing: Zinc layer thickness ≥ 85μm, in accordance with GB/T 13912, with long anti-corrosion life.
Rich zinc primer + epoxy intermediate paint + polyurethane topcoat: Suitable for harsh marine environments, coating thickness ≥ 200μm.
Coating inspection: Thickness gauge, adhesion scratch test, ensuring coating quality.
6. Assembly and testing (safety verification)
(1) Assembly
Anchor claws and anchor shaft pin joints to ensure flexible rotation, no jamming.
Install anchor release hooks, pin shafts, and fit opening pins for anti-loosening.
7. Labeling, packaging and storage
