Rubber Marine Fender also called pneumatic fender, rubber fender, yokohama fender, made by rubber & multi layers of rubber-dipped tyre fabric, is a leading anti-collision device for marine application in the world today. Marine fenders have become an ideal ship protection medium against collision among ship-to-ship (STS), ship to quay (STQ) and ship-to-berthing (STB), they are widely used for large tankers, vessels, docks, harbor wharf and ocean platforms.
Safety Valve
Pneumatic Yokohama fenders of diameter 2500mm and larger sizes shall be equipped with a safety valve for releasing excess internal pressure when the fenders are over-compressed accidentally. Fender which is smaller than 2500mm in diameter can also be equipped with a safety valve if requested.

Excellent elasticity, strong deformation recovery ability: It disperses impact energy through gas compression, can undergo significant deformation and quickly return to its original state, and its performance does not decrease when compressed at an angle, avoiding local stress concentration, and is suitable for the multi-directional swaying of ships caused by wind and waves.
Adjustable air pressure, wide adaptability: It can be adjusted to adapt to different tonnage, speed of ships and complex sea conditions (such as tidal changes), and even integrate pressure sensors and automatic inflation systems to improve berthing efficiency.
