Pneumatic Rubber Fender is an abrasion-resistant rubber fender filled with high pressure air. It is the leading anti-collision device for marine application in the world. This compressed air filled rubber fender is used as a protective medium for ship to ship contact (STS), ship to quay (STQ) and ship-to-berthing (STB). Pneumatic Fenders are available in diameters ranging from 300mm to 4,500 mm and lengths ranging from 500 mm to 9,000 mm, as well as special sizes. All sizes are available as sling-type or with a heavy duty chain & tire net.

Manufacturing Process:
 
Precision Cutting: Utilizing CNC laser cutting technology, precise cutting of the material fabric is carried out to ensure a dimensional error of ≤ 1%, meeting the requirements for the formed shape after inflation.
Reinforced Double Stitching: At key seams, double-thread sewing combined with heat-pressed edge sealing technology is employed to enhance the sealing performance and tear resistance, preventing air leakage or thread breakage after inflation.
High-Pressure Heat Bonding: The fabric seams undergo high-temperature and high-pressure heat bonding treatment, achieving high fusion and enhancing the overall structural strength to withstand collisions and impacts in marine environments.
Multi-Layer Coating Treatment: The surface is sprayed with UV protection layer and wear-resistant coating for dual protection, isolating ultraviolet rays and seawater erosion, and prolonging the service life.
Strict Air-Tightness Testing: The finished product undergoes a 24-hour high-pressure inflation test, with a pressure retention rate of ≥ 98%, ensuring no hidden leaks and stable sealing.

Feature:


1. Material test for rubber
The material test of the outer rubber and the inner rubber shall be conducted in accordance with the physical properties of inner and outer rubber required by ISO 17357:2002
2.Dimensional inspection
The dimension of all the fenders shall be inspected at the initial internal pressure and the results shall be within the following tolerances:
- length: +10%, -5%;
-diameter: +10%,-5%
3.Air-leakage test
The air-leakage test shall be conducted on all the fenders at initial pressure for more than 30 min, and the test results shall
confirm that there is no air leakage.
4.Hydrostatic-pressure test
The hydrostatic-pressure test shall be performed for 10 min at the hydrostatic-pressure shown in "test pressure at 0% deflection". Maximum temporary elongation: 10%
