Diameter 1.5*10 m Boat Airbag Ship Rubber Landing Airbags
Ship launching airbags, known as roller bags or ship launching balloons, are made of heavy-duty synthetic-tire-cord layers with inner and out rubber layers in a long cylindrical balloon shape. Ship launching airbags can be used for ship launching, ship landing work.
Ship launching or upgrading using marine airbags is an innovative ship launching technology. It overcomes the disadvantage of "end-on launching", "side ship launching", "float-out". This ship launching technology overcomes the restrictions of the fixed launching track of side-launch.
Product Description:
Material Advantages:
Material selection: A composite material of natural rubber and synthetic rubber is used. The inner tire layer is made of high-strength butyl rubber (with excellent air tightness), while the outer tire layer is added with wear-resistant and aging-resistant carbon black additives to enhance puncture resistance and UV protection.
Structural design: The airbag is a cylindrical hollow structure with a diameter of 1.5 meters and a length of 10 meters. Both ends are equipped with hemispherical sealing heads (formed as one piece without any joint gaps). Multiple layers of polyester cord fabric reinforcement layers (≥8 layers) are set inside to enhance radial and axial pressure-bearing capacity. The maximum working pressure can reach 0.15-0.25 MPa, and each unit can bear a weight of over 500 tons.
Safety configuration: A bidirectional inflation valve (with leak-proof design) and a pressure safety valve are equipped. They can precisely control the internal air pressure to avoid overpressure explosion; the outer surface is equipped with anti-slip patterns to reduce relative sliding between the vessel and the airbag.
Manufacturing Process:
Raw Material Compounding and Sheet Preparation: Natural rubber, butyl rubber, carbon black, anti-aging agents, and other raw materials are fed into a closed mixer in specified proportions. Compounding is performed at 120-150°C until uniformity is achieved. The mixture is then calendered into sheets of uniform thickness for inner tubes, outer tires, and cord fabric laminated sheets.
Reinforcement Layer Forming: Polyester cord fabric is wound circumferentially around the tire carcass. Specialized rubber adhesive is applied between each layer to ensure strong interlayer bonding. Tension is uniformly controlled during winding to prevent wrinkles that could compromise pressure-bearing performance.
Bladder Vulcanization: Employing large-scale autoclave vulcanization, the wound bladder carcass is placed into a custom mold. Vulcanization occurs at 150-160°C and 0.8-1.0 MPa pressure for 4-6 hours, achieving complete rubber cross-linking and curing to form an integrated structure.
End Cap Sealing and Valve Installation: Molded end caps are thermally vulcanized to the bladder body, with additional reinforcement through 3-5 layers of cord fabric winding at the joint. Install copper inflation valves and safety valves, followed by airtightness testing (inflate to working pressure, maintain for 24 hours; leakage rate ≤3%).
Finished Product Inspection: Conduct hydrostatic burst testing (at 1.5 times working pressure), load-bearing performance testing (simulating vessel weight loading), verify dimensional tolerances (diameter deviation ≤ ±5mm, length deviation ≤ ±10mm), and inspect surface quality. Units are released from the factory only upon passing all inspections.

Features:
Exceptional Load-Bearing Capacity and Stability: The multi-ply cord fabric reinforcement structure evenly distributes vessel weight. The 1.5×10-meter specification accommodates launching and recovery operations for vessels under 5,000 tons, with no localized collapse occurring under stable air pressure.
Abrasion Resistance and Long Service Life: The outer tire layer features ≥15mm thick wear-resistant rubber, withstanding friction from sand, gravel, and reefs. It maintains normal service life for 8-10 years and adapts to diverse aquatic environments including oceans and inland rivers.
Efficient and Convenient Operation: Each unit weighs approximately 800-1000kg, enabling rapid deployment via forklift or crane. Inflation takes only 30-60 minutes, and deflation after use allows for easy transportation and storage.
Safety and Compliance: Meets GB/T 20858-2017 “Marine Airbags” standards and is certified by the China Classification Society (CCS). Suitable for specialized applications including shipbuilding, maintenance, and port rescue operations.

Applications:
Ship Launching and Launching Operations: Used for ship launching at shipyards and launching vessels after dry dock repairs, replacing traditional slipways to reduce construction costs. Suitable for bulk carriers, fishing vessels, yachts, and various other types of ships.
Beaching and Rescue Operations: When vessels run aground or require temporary beaching for repairs, airbags are positioned beneath the hull. Inflation utilizes buoyancy to lift the vessel, enabling lateral movement or disengagement from the stranded position.
Port Engineering Support: Used for heavy-lift operations like caisson installation at docks and module relocation for offshore platforms. Multiple airbags are deployed in combination to distribute loads, ensuring stable and safe operations.
